My phone can't hold it's charge for less than a day now. I kinda want an Android phone, but I think considering my circumstances I'm going to just buy a new battery and stick with this phone for another three years. The phone works perfectly otherwise, and the data plan an Android phone would need is probably not the best idea to waste money on right now. But enough about that, it's picspam time again!

I'm going to do this backwards, like a countdown. It took me a while to put them in categories, much less in order. But I think this was a really great idea since I love the amount of new pictures I found for some of the girls and what I discovered about what I find interesting, admirable or sexy.

There are quite a few that I didn't realize were completely out of the running until I made the lists and then looked and went, "Wow, I completely forgot about these four people." But they were obviously pretty women, like Angelina Jolie or Olivia Wilde so I left them out.

Let's get started!

Not dial-up friendly )

And that's that! I think I'll make another picspam in the foreseeable future about other women that I respect, because I think it'd be an interesting way to analyze the qualities that I admire in women. I don't really have that many female role models to begin with and I spend a lot of time putting women down when I should really be trying the opposite.

I went to the free Mandy Moore concert last night. It was okay. I got there around 5:30 and waited in line until they let us in at 7. There wasn't a lot of people who went, and Highline is pretty small. I liked the venue though-- there's seating so it can effectively be a nice dinner date if you're into those things. I want to go see The Roots play there on one of their jam dates. I'll have to look those up later.

ETA: Apparently they went on at 11:30pm last night. FAIL, but it is a weekly thing, so no biggie. Plus, apparently Bryan Greenberg will be at Highline on the 18th! SCORE.

Concert report )

Anyway, like I said, it was free and she was on my list of people I'd wanted to see live. And I got a scotch on the rocks and a white pizza slice out of it, so there's that.

It's apparently a week of musical revelations though. I realized that song my nephew's always singing-- the one I thought was a made-up silly jingle-- is actually a Jamie Foxx song called "Blame It". And I now know why I knew the lyrics to "Hook Up" by Kelly Clarkson on the very first time I heard it, even though I don't keep track of her anymore-- I have the same song by Katy Perry. And even though I still don't get the whole Lady Gaga phenomenon (and holy hell, she's my age? Way to make me feel accomplished!), "Poker Face" is an addicting song that makes me think of Castiel in the crackiest way.

So I registered for classes. I need help. I registered for Russian, because there was nothing else I was interested that was open to me. The thing is, you don't get credit for 101 unless you take 102. This would be okay if there wasn't ten other classes I need to take for my major within the next two and a half years, plus another math class. I can only take five classes at a time. So wouldn't I be better off not taking Russian? It's going to cost me two courses just to get credit for it. But I really wanna take languages again! I miss it. And Spanish was just NOT sticking. Latin was tougher too. But somehow Polish, French and Chinese have been pretty easy for me on my own terms. So... help?

Ummmm, fandom things.

Lost. These recaps made me and my dad wake up my mom with our laughter. Oops.

Psych. Apparently there's different versions of the pilot. Anyone notice this before? The iTunes pilot is different from the one originally aired and the one they're re-running tonight. Certain parts are longer or shortened. Huh. Obviously it's to cut it down to an hour, but still... WEIRD.

WTH, late night chatting people. It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. :P

Drake Bell - Somehow. I was going to do a music post, but this can't wait. I'm sooo addicted to this song. Apparently it's about a girl who gets engaged and wonders if it's the right decision because she had a bad past. I mean, if that's true..... it's very concealed because on first glance it looks like another one of those domestic abuse songs. And damn deep for someone my age. I guess you can tell I like these types of emotional rock songs.

P.S. NEW PSYCH COMMERCIAL! When it pops up on YouTube, I'll post it. If it ever does. *has been waiting since 1:45am* :/
