I'm guessing the third season of series just aren't supposed to be my favorites. I just went back and looked at all my "favorite" TV shows, and all of the third seasons were pretty bad. Except for How I Met Your Mother, this season is pretty decent. *pumps fist*

Although I fear for Psych. And... Heroes. But Heroes tends to be horrid for half a season, then apologizes for it so we all go "At least they admit it!" Then it gets better and ends with everyone anticipating the next season. So I'm mostly concerned for Psych.

Huh. Okay that was "random" so uhh... video!

This actually applies across the border, not just to this specific game or to even games themselves.

P.S. I'm reading Watchmen now, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Alan Moore, he is an interesting writer. JDM really knows how to pick the roles, though. O_o

I'm worried about Psych too. There have been some good third seasons of some shows, but I don't know about Psych, as it kind of went downhill last season for me. Most shows seem to go downhill sometime before the end of third season. Some even during their second seasons.

Yeah, I keep hearing about that sophomore slump but I usually don't feel that with my shows. Mostly because I know that if they were to be the first season all over again it'd be annoying. But third seasons.... D:

A lot of people were complaining about Psych's second season. I had a few complaints, but overall I'm still just as excited for the show as I used to be.

I see the sophomore slump more often with bands than I do with TV shows. Especially if their first album is a huge hit. Sometimes they manage to get even better though.

Most of my favorite TV shows go downhill sometime during 2nd or 3rd season, but they usually manage to get good again, given the chance.

Yeah, I see it happen a lot more in music. It's more understandable I think, especially considering how long it usually takes between albums as opposed to TV seasons.

Yeah. It is understandable, it's just sad.

With TV seasons going downhill, from what I've seen, it's sometimes due to a big change in the plot or the organization or something. Like when Veronica Mars switched to mystery arches from their season long mysteries, it sucked. Or when BtVS started season four and they tried to do the whole college thing...

The whole writers' strike caused a lot of problems with my shows too.

With Psych, the frustrating thing for me as a viewer was that I didn't really see character development. And that's something that's kind of a necessity in TV shows, at least for me. They didn't change it up enough.
