I'm guessing the third season of series just aren't supposed to be my favorites. I just went back and looked at all my "favorite" TV shows, and all of the third seasons were pretty bad. Except for How I Met Your Mother, this season is pretty decent. *pumps fist*
Although I fear for Psych. And... Heroes. But Heroes tends to be horrid for half a season, then apologizes for it so we all go "At least they admit it!" Then it gets better and ends with everyone anticipating the next season. So I'm mostly concerned for Psych.
Huh. Okay that was "random" so uhh... video!
This actually applies across the border, not just to this specific game or to even games themselves.

P.S. I'm reading Watchmen now, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Alan Moore, he is an interesting writer. JDM really knows how to pick the roles, though. O_o

Date: 2008-05-10 04:15 am (UTC)A lot of people were complaining about Psych's second season. I had a few complaints, but overall I'm still just as excited for the show as I used to be.

Date: 2008-05-11 08:06 am (UTC)I JUST (FINALLY!) SAW KISS KISS BANG BANG
AAAAAAAAAND I LOVED IT, OMG
THE MYSTERY TOTALLY WENT OVER MY HEAD, I'M PROBZ GONNA HAVE TO WATCH IT ANOTHER TIME TO BE ABLE TO FOLLOW ALONG
BUT
I LOVED HARRY AND PERRY AND HARMONY AND EVERYONE (HAAAAAAAY HENRY SPENCER AND SHANNON SOSSAMON!!)
AND I LOVED THE NARRATION (LULZ, SO MANY TIMES, SOMETHING'D HAPPEN, AND I'D HAVE A THOUGHT ABOUT IT, AND THEN HARRY'D PIPE UP EXPLAINING THAT VERY THING.)
AND I LOVED GAY PERRY AND ALL THE JOKES THAT CAME WITH, BECAUSE, SEE, YOU CAN DO NON-OFFENSIVE GAY JOKES (I THINK MY FAVORITE HAS TO BE, LAME AS IT WAS, "YEAH, DON'T QUIT YOUR GAY JOB!!" RDJ'S DELIVERY TOTALLY MADE IT, MAN)!!!
AND I LOVED...WELL, ALL THE HUMOR MY FAVORITE KIND OF HUMOR IS WHAT I LIKE TO CALL "'WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??!??!' HUMOR" (LIKE WHEN ACTORS/COMEDIANS START CRACKING UP DURING THEIR BITS - STEPHEN COLBERT IS ESPECIALLY HILARIOUS - OR, LIKE, MOST EPISODES OF NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS. LIKE, WHEN THINGS JUST SPIRAL TOTALLY OUT OF HAND, AND PEOPLE ARE TOTALLY OUT OF THEIR DEPTH AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS JUST LAUGH AND LAUGH, EVERYTHING'S SO ABSURD AND FAR-GONE. I DON'T - IS THIS EVEN MAKING ANY SENSE???), AND HOT DAMN, THIS MOVIE BROUGHT IT IN SPAAAADES.
SOMEWHAT RELATEDLY, WHILE I ACTUALLY HAVE NO URGE WHATSOEVER TO SLASH HARRY AND PERRY (I KNOW, RIGHT??), I REALLY JUST WANT TO HAVE THEM KEEP DOING - THIS, GALLIVANTING AROUND TOWN ON THE TRAIL OF JUSTICE, AND BEING TOTALLY, HILARIOUSLY CONFUSED THE ENTIRE TIME. BUT PREVAILING IN THE END!! ...MOSTLY THANKS TO HARMONY, WHO I IMAGINE WILL ALWAYS NEED TO COME BAIL THEM OUT AT THE END. BUT I LOVED THEIR RELATIONSHIP, HOW THEY BOTH ARE ALWAYS GETTING ON EACH OTHER'S CASE, BUT THEY'RE TOTALLY IN SYNC WITH EACH OTHER AT THE SAME TIME (THAT NOSE THING PERRY DOES?? SO. GREAT. [I DO THAT, LULZ!] AND ALSO, HOW, AFTER HARRY FINDS THE BODY IN HIS SHOWER, HE IMMEDIATELY CALLS PERRY AND, PRESUMABLY, SAYS, "THEY GAVE HER BACK!!!", AND, LIKE, EXPECTS THAT TO BE ENOUGH. ALSO, SIDE NOTE, RDJ UNDER THE - TABLE OR WHATEVER, AT THAT POINT?? FREAKING GENIUS. I MEAN, LIKE, IT SOUNDS WEIRD, BUT THAT BOY OF YOURS HAS PHENOMENAL BODY LANGUAGE. I MEAN, I GUESS THAT'S WHY HE'S AN ACTOR AND ALL, BUT WHATEVER.)
ALSO, I REALLY, REALLY NEED AN ICON OF HARRY'S CAT PICTURE. YOU KNOW, THE ONE HE DRAWS WHEN HE'S PRETENDING TO TAKE NOTES WHEN HARMONY'S TALKING TO HIM?? THE ONE THAT SAYS "GATO" ACROSS THE TOP??? OH MY GOD, I DIED. I DIED, AND THEN I WENT BACK AND WATCHED IT AGAIN, AND THEN I DIED AGAIN. AND THEN, DURING THE CREDITS, I THOUGHT OF IT AGAIN, AND SERIOUSLY, VERY NEARLY SPEWED MY WATER ALL OVER THE SCREEN.

Date: 2008-05-12 02:18 am (UTC)GAY PERRY IS TOTALLY ALL VAL KILMER, BECAUSE PERRY WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE GAY BUT VAL WAS LIKE, "IT'D MAKE HIM INTERESTING!"
OOOOMG, IT'S TOTALLY ALL MY HUMOR TOO. WHICH, I GUESS IS THE SAME AS YOUR HUMOR SEEING AS WE'RE BRAINTWINZ AND ALL. BUT THE WHOLE TIME I WAS WATCHING IT ON A BUS (DUDE, WHEN THEY MENTION HARMONY LEAVING TO CALIFORNIA I WAS ALL, "DUDE, THAT COULD TOTALLY BE MY BUS RIGHT NOWWW! AM I HARMONY!?!?" -- AND I KINDA WISH I WAS, FOR VARIOUS REASONS) I WAS TRYING SOO HARD NOT TO LAUGH OUT LOUD.
OOOOOOMG, DUDE, SERIOUSLY. I'M ALL FOR HARRY/HARMONY BUT LIKE, ALL THE FIC THERE IS IS ALL HARRY/PERRY OR HARRY/PERRY/HARMONY BUT ANYWAY, THIS ONE <333 AND ANY OTHERS HERE ARE FANTABULOUS.
"NO! MY QUESTION! I GET TO GO FIRST! WHY IN PLUPERFECT HELL WOULD YOU PEE ON A CORPSE!?" AHAHAH BEST EVERRRRRR. ALSO, THE WAY HARRY SHAKES HIS HAND WHEN HE SEES THE CORPSE LIKE, "EWWW." LOL

INT. CAB
(Marshall, Lily and Ted sit in back seat with Lily sleeping with her head on Marshall's shoulder; Barney is sitting up front with driver)
Ted: (talking loudly) I'm really glad you guys came out tonight.
Marshall: (talking loudly) You know, dude, can I just say something? It kinda hurt that you guys didn't invite me out. I mean, I know things have changed since I got engaged. But it would have been nice to be asked.
Ted: (loudly) I'm sorry. I just assumed you had other plans.
Barney: (talking loudly over Ted) They played some good songs tonight.
Ted: (loudly) I mean, lately-
Marshall: (interrupting) I know, I know, it's just, like suddenly we're living in two different worlds. Maybe you've got more in common with Barney?
Barney: What?
Ted: Are you crazy? You think I like going to those clubs? I'd so much rather go to your fruity little wine tasting.
Lily: (gets up suddenly) Oh my God, I'm gonna barf. Where's my purse? Where's my- no, I'm okay... (settles back down on Marshall's shoulder)
Ted: The problem is you can't do any of that couple stuff unless you have someone to do it with. And the only way I'm gonna find that someone is by going out and doing stupid single stuff with Barney.
Barney: What?
Ted: But man, when I find her, we're gonna have some bad-ass wine tastings.
Marshall: It's a plan. ...Hey, maybe it'll be that cute coat check girl.
Ted: Yeah, maybe it will be.
Future Ted VO: ...It wasn't.
Marshall: You know, Ted, I don't say this nearly enough but I really value...
Barney: (talking loudly over Marshall) Hey, that place has great salads.
(Lily puts her head on Ted's shoulder; Ted and Marshall smile at each other; Barney dances by himself in the front)
