Also, I never mentioned, but that one episode with Barney's family? I was amused how James' dad didn't immediately ask about James' wife or anything. Telling him you're gay would be an awkward conversation to start your new relationship with your dad, but if you pulled out a picture of your baby... odds are the first question is gonna be somewhere along the lines of figuring out who its mommy is.



The Event: No, it's not the next Lost. But I like it. I'm glad it's not the next Lost. It reminds me of Heroes or Surface. But if it becomes V I'm out. If I wanted to watch V, I'd watch V. But it intrigues me enough that I'm actually invested, which is more than I can say for most of the shows on TV this fall.

The Big Bang Theory: LOOOOOOOOL AT HOWARD'S FANTASY SEQUENCES. AMAZINGGGG.



Big Time Rush: First of all, I was so excited--as was most of the fandom--for Big Time Girlfriends. Actualfax plots and drama! And while the actual main plotline went sort of ridiculously off-rail, the video was AMAZING. I knew the James/plant thing would make more sense in the context of the show, and it did and looooooooool as someone mentioned in a meta, the plant was actually a palmwood plant. Yes, like the hotel but also in the sense that James is the only guy alone. With palm. wood. OH NICKELODEON, YOU ARE SO WRONG IN MANY WAYS.

AND THEN BIG TIME LIVE AND LOOOL OMG YOU GUYS, WORK WILL NEVER BE THE SAME FOR ME. One, that's not at all how teleprompters even work! Two, WHY DON'T THE GUYS COME RUNNING THROUGH OUR STATION. Our music set is small but it's usable! And then, even though they already HAD A MUSIC VIDEO, they went and made ANOTHER ONE. And oh my god, Logan with the stock exchange report! Chef Carlos (I was hoping for the return of C.A.L.)! The random stage they had to perform on! AMAZING.

And now Friday's episode is built around not only Halloween (I want zombie!Logan so bad), but "Big Night"? GUYS, BIG NIGHT IS MY FAVORITE SONG NOT FROM THE SHOW AND NOW THERE'S GOING TO BE AN EPISODE/VIDEO FOR IT? OMGGGGG. You don't understand, I already know the dance moves by heart from watching concert footage before the album came out. I LOVE IT THAT MUCH. AND I JUST--FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I WILL NOT BE HOME, BUT I WILL TAPE IT. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH. <333

I don't think there will be another show like Lost for a long, long time. Everything now will be slight clones or reminiscent of it. But I can enjoy a series like that for now.

I loved Big Time Girlfriends and Big Time Live also! LOL James and the tree. The palm/wood thing goes along with what I've said ALL ALONG: James is in love with himself and masturbates to pictures of himself at night.

Did you think of HIMYM with the 1 minute date thing with Kendall/Jo?

I loved the "video" they did with TIFAY on Big Time Live.

And between the show and the cd and the previews for the Halloween episode and the stuff people post on Tumblr and I am all ASLDHASLDKHASLDHAS about BTR right now.

omg, that is basically James for sure. I like that canon paints him as this ladies man but yet HE NEVER HAS A GIRL. But it's canon that he's prettier than Mercedes, so maybe he's just prettier than every girl. THIS COULD BE USEFUL IN SLASHY FICS. HMMMM.

That was such a great sequence, especially how each guy had his own segment of the newscast.

I AM THE SAME. I haven't been able to read any fic in about a week because I've been busy, but once this play is over THAT IS ALL I WILL BE DOING.
