Tomorrow I get to hang out with splits_thesky again! And I get to see Rooney in concert again, although I haven't had time to even listen to Eureka all the way through so brb, listening to it in my sleep.

And re: Eureka, lulz, neither have I, dude, I just stuck all the songs on my iPod last night; I'm planning on giving them a listen-through on the train ride into the city.

But dude, did Robert seriously get up super early yesterday, and fly aaaaaall the way across the country JUST to see Mojo JoeJo??? And now, apparently he's flying aaaaaaall the way back, today (I saw them gushing about each other on Twitter this morning, and was just like, ".......wait, Robert, aren't we supposed to be SEEING you tonight, what the hell").

loool ngl, some of the songs on this album are clunkers, man. There's always a few songs that I don't connect with immediately buttt "Stars and Stripes"? "Into the Blue"? Not In My House"? What is happening, Robert! I do like that they're all not love songs though. And the ~direction they're heading is kinda cool. But seriously...

And I saw that too! Idk, man. How is he such good friends with someone so much younger? Kevin would make more sense for him to hang with than Joe, you know?

...okay, after listening to it on the way home, too, I think my top 5 songs from the album are: "Holdin' On", "I Can't Get Enough", "The Hunch", "I Don't Wanna Lose You", and "Pity". That's not in any particular order, though (thoughhhhh "Pity" might be my most favorite, idk yet), just...yeah.

I love "Holdin' On" and "Pity" but I haven't listened to them much. And I think "Only Friend" is cool but I still listen to it and go, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, ROBERT?????" But "The Hunch" is so BOUNCY~*~*~*~, sort of like "I Can't Get Enough."

lulz, oh, "Only Friend" is probz one of my least favorites, along with "Not in My House" (I actually like "Stars and Stripes", now that I've listened to it more!). But re:"The Hunch", I KNOW, RIGHT. I get it stuck in my head aaaaaaall the time, and then I'm just, like, bopping around and singing it, all day. It's fun, I mean, but also kiiiind of annoying. CUUUUURSE YOU, EDWARD ANDREW BROWER (lulz, seriously, how do you even get Ned out of all that???)!!!!

A couple days ago, I was rereading the post where I made that comment (idk why, now, but), and watched it again, aaaaand was like, "THIS IS GREAT!!!!", again.
Aaaand then, you know, where there is slash, I go, soooo I was wandering around the internets, looking for fic or vids or whatever.
Then I got really endeared to the two actors (AS YOU DO), and - well, actually, first I was going to watch something else Kris Holden-Ried had been in, but then I was like, "welllll, but, let me look up the other guy, too, see what he's been in!!"
...well, it turns out, not a lot, buuuuut in exploring those few things, I found this, and then I youtubed it (AS YOU DOOOOO), aaaaaaand then I fell 500% IN LOVE:

looooool, idek, but ISN'T IT GREAT???? British tv in general (Coupling! Nevermind the Buzzcocks! Mock the Week! ....lots of other stuff I'm forgetting right now!!), I mean, and also this.

Also, hah, I have only seen 3 episodes so far...?? Partly because I'm trying to *~*save them*~*, aaaaand partly just because I - well, I just haven't. But Edwin is COMPLETELY my favorite! I mean, YES, I started watching for Joe Van Moyland, but also I LOVE how he doesn't even actually have his own plot, he just wanders around with his dad and delivers snarky commentary on all the craziness. Episode 2 is my faaaaavorite, in this vein (and my favorite all around, I think, buuuut that's also considering how many episodes I've actually seen so far) - ep 3 is good too, I mean, but -- idk, it's just a really bizarre episode, all around.
Anyway, YAAAAAAAY THIS SHOWWWW/BRITISH TV/PEOPLE!!!!

I've only seen two episodes? But yesss, the second one was where I went, "looooool I am totally in for this ride, whyyyy are there only six episodes?!" And yes, Edwin is COMEDY GOLD. Also, Daniel reminds me of Elijah Wood? In my mind I refer to him as El Wood and then get confused when they mention Edwin and it's not Daniel they mean.

I'll have to read this book sometime in the future, now, you realize!!!

The second episode, besides being hysterical, actually made me go, "awwwwww!!" at the end (when they're all sitting around, having dinner, and looking fond of each other??<33333). And then I actually had to stop and be like, "...wait, did this show, with it's plot points of boxes of sex toys and erotic food, just *~*touch my heart*~*????"
And hah, I guess he does sort of look like Elwood!! *~*~*~CRAAAAAZY*~*~*

Also, dude, my parents are going down to DC for a weekend in August (which weekend, they're not sure yet, but it's to visit some old friends), and this evening my mom proposed this: one Thursday, you come to NJ, then Friday we'll both take the train in to Philly - I have to be intern-ly, you can either go around the Franklin, or go around Philly in general. Then - well, my mom said they'd pick us up, but we might have to catch the train back home, idek, but somehow we re-meet up with my parents, and all of us drive down to DC. Then we're there for the weekend - idk what my parents plan to do, exactly, but we can go around to all the Smithsonians, or the like! Aaaand then Sunday we'll come back.

And, like, we'd have a ride, we'd have a place to stay (we have options, even - with my parents at the house of those people they're visiting, or at the apartment my cousin was using when she was at Georgetown, which is now empty), and the museums are free, right. So, like, all we'd have to pay for is food, and, especially if we buy it around Georgetown, I'm sure it'll be pretty cheap. Plus my mom said we can just bring a box of cereal or something from home for breakfasts, and we can also just meet up with my parents/our family friends for meals if we don't want to spend money, because I'm sure there'll be cooking going on there.


Sooooo....y/n/maybe?? I mean, you CERTAINLY can think about it, we have PLENTY of time, and my parents don't even have a weekend in mind, buuuuut it might be awesome!!

lulz, also, the part about bringing breakfast is cracking me up right now. SLOWEST (I almost wrote "slowlest" loool) BREAKFAST EVER.

Also looool I was JUST telling my dad about the Robert/Joe thing because on the way home I was scrolling through Twitter, thought Nick tweeting about being somewhere with a friend was Joe and was like, "WAIT, ARE THEY BROMANCING AGAIN" out loud and then had to explain that to my dad.
