RECAPPPPPPPPPP
Possible Spoilers for all the shows below:
Desperate Housewives:
Okaaayyy.... so who's dying? Anyone heard that rumor/tidbit? I figured it was Bree but they toned that down. And it's getting a bit too soapy for me. I guess I missed the first season so I'm favorable to the (allegedly) crappier second season. If this continues, I'm not watching anymore. I only watched it to be closer to my parents but we don't watch it together anymore. We don't watch Lost or Heroes together, but those are more along my lines than this.
HIMYM:
Lily was always going to be a teacher again. Obviously. I wish she stayed at Barney's though. That was just too much fun.
The Class:
They're focusing too much on Kat/Ethan for my taste. They're both my favorites, but that whole dynamic will get old. And Lina's sorta annoying once again. Can Holly just die? Really don't care for her at all. I would choose 30 minutes of Perry over her.... and that's saying something because Perry's such a stereotypical closeted gay guy that he's not even funny.
Heroes:
Oh my god, Hiro and Peter on a train! And it's Samurai!Hiro! W00t! Niki is annoying yet again. So is Nathan.... and why was he flying in his boxers? He called them pajamas... nice. I'd hate to see what he calls underwear. ;-) Hiro: "Boo boo" *dies from cute* And Hiro's waffles! I wanted waffles thing morning.... :-(
After lurking on a thread at JKL's IMDB board, I paid more attention to Ando's accent compared to Hiro's. I think they're right. But Ando knows English, so maybe he's not always been in Japan. Or am I forgetting something to the contrary? I never paid attention to him much before.
Peter and Issac! Artistic!Peter without heroin? So maybe Isaac can work around the heroin, if Peter can just absorb the power without needing it.
Matt's wife = happy suddenly. I WONDER WHY. Wasn't she about to divorce him? Gah, women. I am one and I don't get them.
Studio 60:
Laura Graham PWNS... and then takes it back. Awww she was almost cool in my book.
Tom's parents, I'm guessing, is supposed to make us go "Wow, I want to know more about Tom, why did he get into sketch comedy if his parents know nothing about the business?" Whereas I go "Boring. Yeah, sometimes it's a family love, sometimes its a rebel move/personal love. It happens." And I can't stand people like them. Tom's parents I mean. Oh yes, there's no draft. So if your son's in Afghanistan? He went on his own. Don't get angry at the comic brother for it! This can become Faramir and Boromir Part Two if no one's careful.... And I'm assuming I'm the only one who made that connection. *facepalm*
ELI WALLACH FTW! I love how I recognized him, but I had to think about who was Sid Caesar for a while. Doy. Cal's fascination with Eli just oozed cute. I love when people show interest in old timers like that and don't just throw them out like the trash.
Dylan's in this episode! Nate, I love you.
Simon, oh, Simon. I could definitely go all out on Sorkin for this one. I'm glad he recognizes it enough to put it in writing though. But really, the token black guy in all his shows is getting sort of obvious. Guillame in Sports Night, Dulé in WW, Hughley in S60.
Oh yeah, Jordan's run around for friends? Who's watching me at parties?!?!
SIMON AT THE BAR MADE ME TEARY! Simon, D.L., whoever wrote that scene: I love you. Thanks for recognizing the ones who don't always fit in on either side of the fence.

Date: 2006-10-24 04:50 am (UTC)Heroes, well, you read what I had to say. But I thought that Nathan was flying in pajama pants? I think that Ando took English as a secondary language in school. But Hiro was speaking pretty decent English to Nathan, even if it wasn't broken up.

Date: 2006-10-24 05:02 am (UTC)Maybe it was pajama pants..... I saw him hit the dirt in shorts. I watch the episodes twice so I'll double check later on. I look out for the symbols during the second time. Yeah, I noticed that with Hiro's English. I thought I missed something as to how he suddenly could carry a decent conversation in English. Weird....
