bohemia: (Dule & Nicole - love.)

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1. Funk Exploration - Fredalba (Eric Balfour's band. I love them I think more than I love looking at him... this is my latest favorite song of theirs. "Revelation" & "Heart To Steel" are awesome too)

2. Americano! - Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers (The chorus keeps getting stuck in my head, which is good because it's replaced "Your Name On A Grain Of Rice" which was climbing it's way up my iTunes 'play count' column. I found out about them here, so this is Psych-related. It's also one of the only artists posted there than I can picture our little Texan James Roday rocking out to.)

3. The Next Ten Minutes (The Last Five Years Soundtrack) - Sherie Rene Scott & Norbert Leo Butz (Cathy's part always get stuck in my head when I'm crushing on a guy. Then I go listen to "Still Hurting", "I Can Do Better Than That" & "A Summer in Ohio" and I regain my head.)

4. Electric Avenue - Shawn & Gus ( love Gus going "BOY!" I feel bad for the boom operator on the set...)

5. I'll Make Love To You - Shawn, Gus & Juliet (This is the PSYCH-OUTS! lmao)

6. Pretty People - Dexter Freebish (I like to learn to smustle to this song...)

7. Chemicals React - Aly & AJ (It makes me think of Psych. I don't know why. I'd love to do a fan video on it if iMovie would work with me and my limited disk space...)

I'm not tagging anyone because 7 people is my entire flist basically... so that'd be pointless.

I needed to type this somewhere because I had a wicked awesome but touching dramatic Psych-related mash-up of a dream last night/this morning. I'm typing it all up because it's one of those dreams that was really good and I remembered it all so I had to write it down. But that's not this post. That's the next post.

This post is about James Roday. OK, it's pretty well-known amongst the Roday-addicts (we need a cool fandom name...) that his birth name is James Rodriguez. He's from San Antonio, Texas. So it'd be safe to assume that the hispanic part of him must be Mexican. Texas is right there on the Mexico border after all. Which would be fine to leave it there. But Ryan Cabrera (you know Ashlee Simpson's best-friend/ex) is from Dallas, Texas just like the whole Simpson clan-- and he's half Colombian. Cameron Diaz has blonde hair like Ryan Cabrera, and she's half Cuban. (She's from San Diego, so that doesn't fit into our equation though. I was just rambling on blonde-haired hispanics for a second.) And Alexis Bledel? The chick from Gilmore Girls? She's half Argentinian and half Mexican and hails from Houston. WTF.

Look on a map of Central America and there's tons of Spanish nations, and South America is basically Spanish-world too. So I give up (for now) trying to figure out what James Roday is. I mean, it doesn't really matter but it'd be cool to know.

I finished transcribing my dream from this morning. I only went to bed at 4am, so anything I dreamt was from this morning. It gets pretty "omg I ran out of tissues" crazy at the end. It didn't feel that way when I dreamnt it but when I was typing up what I wrote this morning I almost started to cry. So.. yeah.

I used to have a dreamjournal, but I think I'm going to start putting all my dreams here instead. DJ's sorta old and hard to tag with. BTW, whenever you see the word "dream-world" it basically means that's not how it is in reality. ;-)
