bohemiaI'm back! Not that I really went anywhere, physically. I just needed time to relax and de-stress before things really got out of hand.
- I read. I joined GoodReads for the recommendations and I've realized that dystopian literature is truly my niche. I now have a list of books as tall as my actual bookcase to read. :D
- I saw Twilight. I like the Cullens (I like the idea of them being this tribe no one fully understands) and Jacob a lot, but I don't think the cast and the crew were on the same page in terms of what movie they were making. I'll spare you the Hardwicke rant.
- I wrote. I toyed with the idea of making another journal or community for my writing/graphics etc. but I don't do anything of that sort often enough to really justify it.
- I dreamt. Dream one: Guest star Jimmy Fallon. Except I was undercover spying on him in his lousy split-level that had a second life as an underground freak show/burlesque show. And then we had to go under-undercover to save a few of the dancers who were trapped working the Halloween parade nightly? So essentially Moulin Rouge!/Fever Pitch/Taxi.
Dream two: Guest star Danneel Harris, Jensen Ackles and chick from Twilight. It started with me in some sort of road contest like Drive or Stuntman (the video game). I ended up starring in a raunchy comedy with Danneel Harris called Twinklies (although everyone pronounced it "Twinkies"). I assume it was like what would happen if Jenny McCarthy and Sarah Silverman wrote a movie together. At one point Jensen Ackles came by and tried to make Danneel jealous by making a move on me. I got mad because if she walked off the set, there went my movie career, lol. And then he had a love scene written into the movie. When I found out I chewed him out because this wasn't his set to be screwing up. And the girl with glasses from Twilight was there as a PA and I threw the script at her.
When I woke up I liked the idea of the movie, but I didn't really have an idea of the plot in the dream. So I just cast the movie and made a bunch of movie posters. I had an obsession with Danneel Harris for about two days after. I don't even like her, so don't ask because I don't know.
But enough of my lame-ass self-inflicted internet silence. I only vaguely skimmed my flist just now and I plan on spending the whole day attached to the computer. So what's up with everybody?
