I spent a good six hours yesterday fiddling with my layout and then gave up and switched to this layout by grrliz. I change my layout too often to fuss that much. Oh, well. It is pretty, even if the headers look a bit out of place with it.

Shiny! Someone finally came up with new questions for a shuffle meme. I may steal that when I'm bored.

Ooh, I like your quote choices a lot. Hemingway always seems to produce winners. I'm a bit of a fangirl. Also, I'm tickled that they added that line from Dr. Horrible -- there's quite a bit of truth to be found in it.

As an author I'm not too big on Hemingway (oddly, I tend not to like most classics?), but he does have great quotes here and there.

a) I believe it was from some friending meme, but I can't remember for what, probably The Shoebox Project.

I love how vivid his prose is, but his plots aren't among my favorites. I've only met a handful of books I don't like in one way or another. I'm a total whore for the printed word. *Shrugs.*

a) I want to say it was a Lost one, actually? I could be very wrong, but I made four other friends at the same time, and that seems to be what we all have in common. ^^
c) Ee. I'm flattered. I always feel like I'm not funny/witty/clever enough, so it's always nice to hear otherwise.
d) Childhood fandoms do not go away easily!
e) Hmm. Well, I've always been enamored with them. I remember memorizing the entire script to Grease when I was six or seven and dancing in my living room to the film in the background. My gateway to actual musical theatre, though, was Rent. I stumbled across the OBCR while at the library one day, and it wasn't long before I was playing the thing all day every day. I was so moved by the messages, I sought out similar musicals, and my love of the genre eventually became almost all-encompassing.
