I woke up today thinking, "I have to choose between Shawn Spencer and the Olympics today?" Eh, it's easier to watch three hours of people walking around a stadium with flags when it's DVR'd and you can fast forward. And then I realized I essentially chose Shawn Spencer over my country.

I think the Olympics will be even more interesting this time around because of everyone here on LJ that I know now from around the world. Yes/no? Too cheesy?

Still, I'm going to see Pineapple Express tonight so I might get home a few minutes late for Psych. In the meantime, it's been a while since I spoke about My Boys-- or any show besides Psych, really.


My Boys: WHY DO YOU TOY WITH MY EMOTIONS. FIRST PJ/BRENDAN AND NOW KENNY/STEPHANIE AND PJ/BOBBY. OH MY GOD.

Also, lulz, I thought Mimi Rogers was supposed to be Bobby's mother. Whoops.


Burn Notice: ODED FEHR! Ahaha, if only this episode premiered last week during my The Mummy explosion.

I love the guest stars this show gets, especially the random ones like Erick Avari (who was also in The Mummy!) who's probably better known as Papa Suresh and Marshall Manesh who plays Ranjit on How I Met Your Mother.

And poor Sam, haha. Love advice from Fi is probably not the smartest move. He learned the hard way.


I don't usually pimp friending memes, but if you only participate in one a year, this should be the one for this year. A big hello to all my new friends, I have a sticky post here, with a lot of links and a intro post :)

Two nights ago while I was relaxing and doing some bonus Professor Layton puzzles on my DS I think I had an minor heart attack (from my "research" it sounds more like this)? It's happened before where I had to slow down while walking, but this was the most intense pain I'd had while lying down. I couldn't breathe properly for a while, either. I only have hypotension (low blood pressure) and nothing else has ever showed up in EKGs and other tests, so my body is just messing around with me. It's really annoying.

I should go do ... stuff. I found a great Russian Tenacious D site with their HBO stuff, so I'm off to watch that before the movies tonight.

I really hope that nothing is wrong with you! Thats the worst when the tests don't show anything as wrong, but you are obviously having SOME sort of problem!

I've always been particularly worried about my heart since John Ritter died. Random, I know, but I remember being like, "Well, if a someone with a celebrity's salary's doctors didn't catch that... wtf are my doctors able to catch?"

According to the Wikipedia entry, it might have to do with my late night snacking, of which I do a lot.

I really want PJ/Brendan to happen. Not sure it will, but I really do. I so that Mimi was going to be Bobby's mother too. I thought that would have been more fun, but oh well then :)

The entire last episode I was waiting for Bobby's expression when he realized Mike was sleeping with his mom.

That part when Brendan was sympathizing with PJ about Jack not answering her calls was a bit weird. I'm suspicious of him, now ;)

Yeah, I think that's what it was in retrospect. I forgot in that moment that the others knew she was trying to get him back to the wedding. I was waiting for Brendan to be like, "Ahaha! So you are trying to get ahold of him!"

Haha, I watched Phineas and Ferb on the Disney Channel instead of the Opening Ceremonies!

I actually have an Olympics schedule for the rest of the week...it consists of the swimming, diving, and gymnastics. That's all that really interests me. I'll probably see bits of other stuff while I watch those.

I hope your health is alright! Yours sounds more serious, but I've had some trouble with doctors and tests too. I go in and they tell me nothing's wrong. If nothing is wrong, why is my knee hurting and swollen? (It took 4 doctors, X-Rays, and an MRI for them to tell me it was something I'd just have to live with.) If nothing is wrong, why do I have a strange lump on the back of my calf? Stupid doctors.

Ahem, sorry that turned into a small rant.

I'm all about the swimming myself. Damn you, Michael Phelps! I watch a lot of the events, but the swimming is where I'm rooting for an actual athlete and not just the country in general, so.

Yeah, they always give tons of tests to my mom and I and it's never anything serious, apparently. It amuses me, in a way because my dad never complains about pain or whatever but he's the one who always has all the conditions.

I'm slowly losing faith in the competence of various professionals, so I'm right there with you.

I have a few friends in various medical professions, and I know that at least THEY know what they're doing. Everyone else, I'm not so sure about.

If I had the skills it took to be a doctor, I'd totally do it. I swear I could do a better job!
