If anyone has a GameCube or PS2 you should definitely pick up the first game. It starts off a little slow, but picks up at the end and UGH. I'm simply ecstatic that they even are making this sequel.

It's like the Firefly of games, honestly. It didn't do well retail-wise but everyone who's played it through loves it.

Semi-related: Lego Indiana Jones is fun stuff. I'm not a fan of Indiana Jones (but I'm not not a fan either) but the way they infuse the series with jokes is funny. Like Willie's screams breaks glass and Indy can't go near snakes. I think it's safe to say I'd play any Lego game, so yeah, I'll be buying the Lego Batman too.

And if anyone hasn't seen the Revenge of the Brick or Raiders of the Lost Brick shorts they made to tease these games, you should.

And hahaha, the first episode I saw was only because I totally just wanted to hear what Alex had to say about some movie and then I just... kept watching. And then I had to go back and watch them all.

Anyway, hah, actually, I was watching Diggnation, and there was a link on the side to the TRS where they talk about Prince Caspian, and...I was curious.
...Don't kill me for this, but I think I like TRS better than Diggnation...?? I MEAN, I've seen VERY little of both, so correct me if I'm wrong, but TRS is more, like, fandom, LJ-esque geek, whereas Diggnation is like...general geek. Which is interesting, I mean, I can watch it and not get bored or whatever, but ultimately, I'd be more interested in just showing up for the movies&TV&video games-geekery. Uh.

In the past year there have been moments where I've crushed on all three of the guys and being that Alex and Dan both have amazing girlfriends, I was only completely comfortable with drooling over Jeff. Although we shall see on Sunday how much of a fool I make of myself. I passed with no embarrassment when dealing with Kevin, but then again he was drunk as hell by then. And on Sunday at 2pm? Yeah, no one's drunk by that time (unless you're Kevin Rose).

Also I have this idea that a Jeff!hug is probably one of the greatest things ever. Shit, I clearly need a boy of my own right now.

Haha, see? It's all about the movies! But that's pretty much the gist of them. Like, Diggnation is a lot more about the offbeat news lately than it used to be. But it focuses on Digg.com so that's where it's limited. But TRS is just whatever the guys find to be amazing that week (or get suggested to them by the viewers). Generally, I find Diggnation goes by too quick for me while a TRS episode is just the right length but more often than not I'm excited to see what the guys have to say on TRS more.

You know, I've never actually played Beyond Good and Evil before. I want to though. It sounded and looked like an interesting game.

It was really good storyline-wise and the way they integrated the picture-taking into the mission objectives was impressive, I thought.

Me too! Although the trailer for that is creepy, and I'm not sure if the story is going to justify it.

I read on a website though that the video game critics love RE5 so far and that it was pretty scary, so.. maybe it really is good. lol, My dad really wants it. I was going to get him it for Father's Day but we don't have a PS3 either. ENLESS, I get him a PS3 and RE5 for Father's Day. :D

I feel bad for my dad because I have no idea what to get him for father's day and I felt like he was hinting at a PS3 the other day. But uh, he's the only one with a job so there's no money for it. :/ We also don't have a good set up to adequately display the games so... yeah.
