Hurley owns far too many red items

That Lost rerun last night was so lame. The pop ups ruined the whole thing right off the bat, and then proceeded to give information that everyone already knew, unless they had never seen the show ever before. My mom hasn't seen an episode since the one where Desmond became all psychic, whatever that one was called, so she was really confused watching it. I meant to buy the third season so she could get all caught up before season four started, and I just never got around to it. So maybe this weekend, in between everything we're doing, I can make a trip to the shopping mall and pick it up.
Lost: There's not much to say about it? Hurley's pretty much still apeshit crazy (without Dave though, sadface!), apparently there is an "Oceanic Six" and hallucinations are tactile.
And there was no oldies song, which I was kinda hoping for after the last two seasons.
So what's the Oceanic Six? If it's not "six survivors," I'm thinking it's possibly all the people the others have grabbed for one reason or another. Which to my memory is Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Claire, Sun, WALTTT!!! and Michael. But that's more than six. So I have no idea!
I also watched "Eli Stone," which reminded me of "Ally McBeal" in a crazy, "I don't care for these characters and omg, I miss Loretta on Supernatural" kind of way. And those Oceanic ads are CREEPY. Especially the "Cloverfield Cobra Starship"-ish one.
Also, is anyone going to see Over Her Dead Body? I am so excited that Lake Bell is in something new. And this isn't even the movie she did with Cameron Diaz, whatever that's called. So I'm definitely sitting through that just for her.
And mentioning movies, Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks in a movie does not equal me wanting to see it. Definitely, Maybe? Definitely not. Especially when I'm already angry that Rachel Weisz isn't going to be in the new The Mummy movie. No matter how shitty it is, O'Connell and Evelyn should look the same!

Date: 2008-02-01 06:30 am (UTC)I JUST DON'T KNOW. My guess is either Jin/Sun or Claire and somebody, at the same time I think it has to be Claire/somebody because there was the funeral that Jack cared about and asked Kate if he went to. But that could also be one of the people from the freighter, that are coming to "rescue them. I personally think it's Ben that died or Juliet. I'm 70% on the Ben side. So much of it is in the air and I have like two good choices for either, but I know that it'll probably be nothing I'm thinking because things change so much.
I have absolutley no idea what they did! I want to know, and we know that it's not that one group lives, and the other dies because Kate/Jack are in one group and Hurley is in another and we know for sure they make it off the island. So much has left to be explained, I have a feeling this is going to be a really good season.

...if it even gets finished. And man, I hope so. Last season was sort of "meh" and season two, while I enjoyed it, was sort of a waste.

Date: 2008-02-01 07:39 am (UTC)The only thing that makes me think it's Ben and not Juliet is because when the guy asked "friend or family?" he said "neither" and I think if it was Juliet, he might have said friend. But if it was Ben, he would have said neither.
Really? I loved the second and third season, but I also didn't watch them when they aired, I actually just got into lost like a year ago so I've been catching up, I caught up enough to watch the season 3 finale on air. So, this is the first season I'll see all firsthand and not online/DVD. But, now I own all the DVDs, so that's nice.
We chatted about the writers strike today, and someone said they heard something about it being cleared up in a weekish. I don't know if that's true, but it'd be absolutley fantastic if it did.

Date: 2008-02-01 08:13 am (UTC)UNLESS SOMETHING HAPPENS BETWEEN JACK AND JULIET. haha, i don't know. It's all speculation.
Yeah, it's easier to watch all in a row. But when you have to wait a week, and you just wasted an hour watching for an answer you didn't get? Yeah. I really need the season 3 DVD.
The networks and the WGA are back in talks, but nothing has been resolved. They may have found a temporary resolution, in the meantime. I just really want it to be over, for everyone's sake.
