Nov. 5th, 2008 12:22 amToday, I woke up to Twitter and CNN going crazy with "OMG THE LINESSSSS ARE LOOONNGG" chants, so I got ready and left to the polls with my mom. Only to find that the booths weren't working, and everyone had to use paper ballots. There was hardly anyone there, so I was sort of sad. But the lady who checked for my name on the list said she lived in my building (lol, I didn't recognize her) and that "everyone is coming out" to the polls. It took about an hour to get ready, walk to the polls, vote, and come home. Sorta lame and uneventful, but historical and well, you know the rest.
I was highly amused at how everyone was stuck to a cell phone today getting updates from someone glued to a TV, and then after 11pm, everyone was either honking their horns or yelling out the window. There was one guy standing outside my building just yelling Obama's name and one by one people were popping out the windows and shouting back.
I just hope we can all go back to fussing over wank and laughing at macros now.
Whatever you think about our new president, he's ours for the next four years (at least). Let's not regret it, yeah?

P.S. OMG, A NEW PRESIDENTAL PUPPY. YYAAAAAAY.
