2008 cleaning?

I'm doing some house cleaning. It's a bit more than usual, which is just communities I don't care about anymore. And it's not just LJ, but at Facebook and MySpace as well.
So right now I'm just nudging people who haven't posted in a long while (like three-months-ago-type long), and defriending closed/discontinued journals. If I don't hear from any of these people by spring, I'm cutting them.
At Facebook I'm messaging people, and at MySpace I'm sending messages and comments. I'm tired of all these deadbeat friends I know nothing about.
