Supernatural Marathon Break Post
Nov. 10th, 2006 08:40 pmOK, I should have just made a voice post but I'm already on the computer and I don't know where my cell is (as usual).
I'm on Disc 5 of Supernatural season 1. So... first off: Home, which is episode 8 is made of all kinds of awesome. I just adore that episode for some reason.
And guest stars? They had Beth Broderick in Nightmare. Yes, she who plays Kate's mom on Lost! So apparently she made some good career choices after Sabrina the Teenage Witch. AND SCARECROW (Episode 11) had Tania Saulnier! She's in Slither. I almost fell off my bed when I saw her in the store in that episode. I love Slither so much. Yayes. Oh MAN also, in Scarecrow was William B. Davis! CSM from X-Files! I let out such manical laughter during that episode. Not a big fan of the episode in general but the casting was love. It took me half the Hell House episode to realize where I noticed one of the "Ghostbuster" dudes: he was Jamie in EuroTrip! So while Dean couldn't recognize Blue Öyster Cult's symbol, I couldn't remember Travis Wester.
And Dean's tryst in Route 666 is just cute. I'd prefer Cassie to pop up again than that damned Meg. But at least Meg's prettier, sassier and is played by a better actress than Jo. I can officially say I've joined the Anti-Jo list.
Tomorrow I should be updating my web site-that-has-long-needed-updating plus the Supernatural and Heroes "new viewer" guides I've been working on will be finished most likely. And then I can get finished on my crossover and Supernatural fics. Yay. And then I can get onto my Sims/Supernatural/Psych crossover which could take a while. =P
Hopefully next week I can get back to that movie-watching/book-reading/tv-watching schedule I had planned for this week.
Lia
P.S. I need like $35 on my debit card, stat.
ETA: Dude, I fail. I just realized that Fredric Lehne (Rance Burgess on Firefly, the Marshall on Lost) is the demon in Supernatural. So I guess that counts as the Firefly guest-star for Supernatural. Boo. I really wanted to see Summer or Jewel as spirits or stuff. Even Sean Maher would be great, even though he's not that awesome an actor IMO.
