Another year, more fires. I hope everyone in Southern California is okay-- if you're a victim of the fires, I hope you're safe somewhere.

LOL I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS IN THE LAST POST ABOUT THE OFFICE, BUT THANK YOU ADOBE AND TWITTER. OH, I LOVE GEEKS. Quark is a company. Their page layout program is called XPress. The competing software from Adobe is InDesign. NEITHER HAVE TO DO WITH FLASH.

Big Bang was amusing in that Wolowitz's desperation reminded me of an old friend. Also, I'm pretty sure the Lander/Rover is dead, although the episode wasn't really following a straight plot and I got confused a lot.

P.S. I LOVE the little goofs that happen on AC360's webcam. The other day there was a cursor visible on the big screen behind him (telltale Windows white, too), and today the webcam had some contextual menu stuck. I'm also amused at the fact that Anderson wears jeans when he's not required to stand up during the broadcast. "Keeping Them Honest," indeed.

Sunny was just kinda... there? I expected more for a historical episode. And HIMYM > Sunny's Bell story. I can't remember anything significant about The Office.

Anderson Cooper 360˚!!! I haven't watched anything but CNN since Tuesday (except when my shows are on, natch) but Anderson's banter with Erica is adorable especially at the end of the show (like last night. Also: HIS LAUGH). I also love how much they play Franz Ferdinand. Is that supposed to be the theme song or something? "This Fffire" is not the first song I would want connected to politics, and I don't think the 360˚ in the title alludes to temperature so....?? Also, Campbell Brown is amazing. I'd never seen her show in full before today.

...I give it a year before I'm DVRing sessions on CSPAN.
