When Ships Go Bad
HIMYM: I like how they never mentioned exactly who was playing the Super Bowl. I know why they didn't but I noticed that. It's the best show ever though, because how many shows incorporate TiVo into the plot?! Granted, 10 years ago the TiVo would've just been a VCR recording, but the concept is still cool.
I love how Barney didn't even notice he wasn't technically chained to the pipes. Only he would do that. Poor Robin though! I was wondering how she was going to get through the day.
I want chicken wings, damnit.

The Class: OK, Did Kyle and his boyfriend break up? Yeah, Holly's gone and with her half the plotlines, but why is Kyle always at Ethan's house now? Where's his hot bf? And should we still be worried about Fern? Did I miss something?
I do love Kat hella more now. I feel bad for her next week though, I always feel like she did, everything always messes up my plans. Ethan should take her to Morocco!

Heroes: I love how just because the actors are Japanese people are supposed to believe they're related. Oka, Takei and that new girl look nothing alike. They all obviously have different generations of American influence in their genes. I love how everyone just knows the Haitian dude is Haitian. On Lost, everyone always forgets exactly what Jin and Sun are. On Heroes it's magically known this dude is Haitian. And by the way, wasn't he always in tunics? Why was he dressing like he stole half of Gus from Psych's clothes today? That cream blazer seemed random. Or maybe I'm slow.
I thought Sylar was coming after Claire's mom because he thought she was her biological mother. I should know that Sylar has more information on everyone than we thought.
And Peter!! I can not speak. The fact that he could remember powers makes him all that more amazing to me. I've decided that the Gilmore men land the best roles the moment they leave that show. I can't speak for Chad Michael Murray but I'm going to be paying attention to Scott whatever-- the one who plays Luke? Yeah, because Jared Padalecki's got the best season of TV right now (watch Supernatural this Thursday.. OMG just this one episode, please) and now Milo's lighting up this show too.
Of course, that whole ending was crazy. I will admit I thought Peter/Claire would be possible in season 2 or something. I thought I remember reading or hearing somewhere that they would be attracted to each other, but not do anything because of Claire's age until she was legal. And now, well there goes even that now, yeah? I bet half the shipping comm jumped ship (hahah that pun wasn't intended, but it's funny anyway).

Studio 60: I love Simon.
I love Dylan.
I ADORE CAL! LOL Poor Cal.
I love Lucy/Tom too but let's see how long it takes for them to mess up yet another ship. I mean really.
Matt is freaking me out. He's obsessed with Harry and then he HAS to work all the time. He's going to burn out eventually and if he's supposed to be biographical I never want to meet Sorkin. I feel a bit sad for Chenobitch, but not by much.
And that's about it. This show is making me feel a bit stupid on top of all the icky plotlines going on.

I also saw The Last Kiss, finally. Pretty good movie. I'd give it two and a half stars or three. I can only imagine what the original movie is like. Braff has outdone himself as an actor and I'm impressed. Solid acting and casting all around and concise enough storyline. It wasn't all over the place either. I'm glad Rachel McAdams couldn't fit the scheduling. I think Jacinda was just right for the part. Two favorite parts (and so iconable) were when Anne and Stephen are on the porch just before Michael runs back upstairs and Anne puts her hand on Stephen's heart and Michael sprawled on his own porch framed by the fencing and the doormat that simply reads "HOME". Cinematography wins just for those moments.
If I can, after House tonight and my homework, I'll watch A Scanner Darkly.
