Psych, how much more awesome can you be?
I don't know why some weeks I have more commentary than review. *shrugs*
Psych: "Great, anything else you want to spoil for me?" Aww, Liam/Lil Shawn. Also, WHERE IS MOM?!
Okay, dude, I spent the last hour trying to translate the theme song into Spanish and I got one and a half lines right. That's more than I expected, and I didn't think they would use "prueba" for "proof" because to me, "prueba" = "test". And "yo sé, sabes" totally works just as well as "todos saben!" Whatever, I'm sure James Roday knows more Spanish than I do. He sure seems to.
And also, this whole episode is basically that episode from Monk (Mr. Monk and the Actor, I think?), but with Steve Franks & co's style all over it.
BLOSSOM. DUDE, that was a large chunk of my time spent with my cousins, LMAO. WIn, Shawn, win.
"We only have a day to solve the case, we should wait and hang out."
That is the hokiest looking backlot street ever. It's like ToonTown.
Gus is a bit TOO happy with that stage knife.
Shawn already had the eye makeup on in the last scene. Actually, in the first scene too. O_o
BUZZZZZZZZZZZ!!
PINEAPPLE PEKING DUMPLINGS. Okay, it counts and then it doesn't, because you can't see it!
MAC BOOK PROOOOO. Running ScreenPlay, no less!
lol, Shawn in jail, wtf? That bit in the pilot didn't count and that's not a real jail there either. And later on, hugging with Gus on the phone.
lmao: "I'm not doing this for the attention!" *poses for picture*
Poor Juliet! But lol, the chief just complimented her, not asked where she bought it? And Juliet and that other cop's scenes were kinda uncomfortably AWKWARD.
"It gets realio."
OMG AND IN SPANISH? Lil Shawn is done by a woman. AHAHA also, the way Shawn says Lassy is hysterical. I really want this version as well. The only problem is... I actually have to do more digging than usual to find this particular version. Blah.
And the theme song at the end of the Spanish version is all Spanish! I don't know why that was so awesome, but I guess I just expected the part of the song that's the theme song to be in Spanish. Not the whole thing. I want it on my iPod!!!
And I... think I just got indirect relationship advice from Kevin Rose on Diggnation. Not like it was any good, lol. But random nonetheless.
Lia
P.S. I'm almost as happy to see Cloverfield icons on my flist as I was when the first Grindhouse batch came out. \o/

When they don't even speak Spanish! Interesting. There wasn't even subtitles until Shawn's scene.

I don't even get the appeal of soap operas I can understand. Maybe they just forgot to put subtitles on beforehand? lolz.

Your gramdnother watched them since they were on radio? Sounds like a pretty boring show.
lol, but no, I sometimes wish there were still more radio shows on, I think I could totally get into a mystery show that was on the radio. It'd be like a book, but obviously different.

That would be lovely. Especially coming from a very large radio, with the fireplace on and snow! :]

I know! I'd really want a fireplace, too. It just completes the whole thing.
