Recs and memes!
I rarely use my printer so the ink tends to coagulate inside and then the printer dies because the heads are too clogged to even get clean. But I was desperate to print out some FAQs so I can properly finish Lego Batman and Indiana Jones and Phoenix Wright so I did some Things You're Not Supposed To Do to a printer and got it working. The "needs ink, omg" light is on, but the cartridge is brand new (as of a year ago when it decided not to work) and I have my FAQs now, yay.

killmotion mentioned that just telling you to rummage through my memories doesn't tell you why I liked certain fics. And the last rec post I did was in 2007. So ergo, new recs! It's mostly going to be Supernatural-related because that's most of what I had in my "to-read" folder and really the only fandom I can ever find things I want to read.
And when I complied the list of recs, it came out to five pages in TextEdit. So I decided to break it up and rec a few a day. I'll start off with the recs from other fandoms.
falseeeyelashes: A Sea Shanty Of Sorts (Lost, Desmond/Claire, R)
Odd pairing (imo) but it's the descriptions that make it so great. Especially since at the time it was written, they were still stuck on the island and there was no future-flashes yet.
transposition73: The First Move (Lost, Sawyer/Kate, R)
Remember when this was like, the ultimate ship?
zorb: Puppet (SGA, McKay/Zelenka, PG-13)
This is the only SGA fic I have mem'd. In character!
insiliarius: I Will Be Home Then (HIMYM, Marshall/Ted/Lily, G)
Fics first and foremost need to be in character, and while this isn't really a pairing fic, it's in character.
wings4music: Of Robots & Landscapes (HIMYM, Barney/Robin, PG)
In character!
hctib_notsob: Love Notes (Psych, Shawn/Gus, PG)
Fluff. Which I don't really think works for Shawn and Gus but this spans their lives so far, so I let it slide. At thirteen, not many guys are so manly.
liviapenn: Never Could Get The Hang of Tuesdays (Psych, Shawn, Gus, G)
More of a friendship fic than anything, but Shawn is brilliant, and I love in character fics.
wandersfound: Avoiding the Lens (The Office, Michael/Ryan, PG-13)
I don't even read Office fanfics unless they're from my flist. But it's good! I link you to the last chapter because it's got the links to the others. Read all three!

Argh, I wanted to print out some old school favorite fanfic too, but my old faves have been deleted/re-located. BRB, TRYING TO FIND THEM.
